The missing quadrant: why precious metals belong in every balanced portfolio

6:00 pm to 8:00 pm

2 June 2026

Most portfolios are built around assets that move together when markets get nervous. Shares fall. Property stalls. Cash erodes. And the investor who thought they were diversified discovers they weren't.

Gold and silver have behaved differently through every major financial cycle in modern history. Yet most investors still don't hold any.

This is the conversation this evening is designed to have.

Presented by Ainslie

Ainslie is one of Australia's most respected precious metals dealers, with decades of experience helping investors and self-managed super funds access, store, and understand physical gold and silver. They join Investors Forum for a candid, education-only evening with no products on offer and no agenda beyond one: making sure you leave better informed than when you walked in.

You will leave with clarity on

  • Why gold and silver deserve a place in a modern, diversified portfolio

  • How to buy, store, and hold physical precious metals correctly

  • What current economic conditions mean for the price and role of gold

  • How SMSFs can access precious metals and what the compliance considerations are

  • How financial advisers, accountants, and mortgage brokers can speak confidently to customers asking about precious metals

  • The difference between physical metal, ETFs, and digital gold, and why it matters

Who this evening is for

This evening is designed for sophisticated investors, business owners, and the financial professionals, accountants, and mortgage brokers who serve them. If you have ever wondered whether gold belongs in your portfolio, or in the portfolios of the people you advise, this is the room to be in.
